Woman arrested during traffic stop, found with suspected crack cocaine and more: police

Officers arrested a woman following a vehicle collision where they discovered suspected drugs in the vehicle. 

What we know

The suspect has been identified as 46-year-old Dawn Marie Krause with no fixed address.

Officers responded to the intersection of Tower Place and Forest Drive for the report of a traffic collision involving a red Toyota Prius on December 17, 2024, around 8:20 p.m. 

Upon arrival, officers observed a pipe consistent with narcotics use inside a purse belonging to one of the occupants. 

Police conducted a search of the vehicle and discovered approximately 108.88 grams of an unknown white, powdery substance, approximately 22.61 grams of suspected crack cocaine in packaging, and additional paraphernalia tools consistent with drug use were located as well. 

According to police, the driver of the vehicle was charged and taken into custody.
