Devon Still announces daughter, Leah, showing no signs of cancer
Former Cincinnati Bengals defensive tackle Devon Still says the latest medical tests on his daughter has shown that she has no signs of cancer, he announced on his Instagram page last week.
Leah Still was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroblastoma last year in June and had a 50 percent chance of survival. Her cancer battle captured national attention and support ranging from her father's former football team and in the world of sports. The Bengals raised more than $1.2 million for pediatric cancer research that was tied to the sale of Still's jersey.
Many also followed Leah's story on social media with the hashtag #LeahStrong.
Back in March, Devon announced that his daughter's cancer was in remission after treatment that included surgery and chemotherapy.
The Stills were honored at The ESPYS with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award in June.
Leah was also awarded with her own Wheaties box the following month.
