With the Mega Millions jackpot nearing $1 billion, some Marylanders have racked up big wins across the state. Over the past week, five Mega Millions tickets worth $10,000 or more were sold, along with two significant Powerball wins—$150,000 in Dunkirk and $50,000 in Perry Hall.
The lucky Mega Millions tickets were sold in Abingdon, Baltimore, District Heights, Prince Frederick, and Fort Washington, as players set their sights on the Christmas Eve drawing, which boasts a staggering $970 million annuity jackpot.
Meanwhile, tonight’s Powerball drawing (Dec. 23) offers a $103 million annuity jackpot.
During the week of Dec. 16-22, the Maryland Lottery paid out more than $31.7 million in prizes across all games, including 34 tickets worth $10,000 or more that were either sold or redeemed during that time.
