US Capitol training exercises to take place Wednesday

You may see emergency vehicles and low flying helicopters around the U.S. Capitol Wednesday as part of training exercises taking place this week.

WASHINGTON - Many saw emergency vehicles and low flying helicopters Wednesday morning as part of a training exercise that took place around the U.S. Capitol.

The exercises started on the grounds around 7 a.m.

U.S. Capitol Police and federal partners worked together during the exercises which saw several helicopters landing on the grounds.
