Police arrest man accused of kidnapping couple from DC bedroom, demanding money from ATM
WASHINGTON - Police have arrested and charged a man they say kidnapped and robbed a couple in the middle of the night from their Northeast, D.C. bedroom.
Officers say 33-year-old Donte Watson was arrested Monday. Watson is accused of breaking into the couple's home along the 1200 block of West Virginia Avenue on December 6 around 3:30 a.m.
Investigators say Watson forced the couple from their home in the middle of the night and demanded they withdraw money from an ATM at a nearby convenience store.
