2 injured in shooting at Manassas bar after fight breaks out: police
MANASSAS, Va. - Two people were shot following a fight at a bar in Manassas Sunday night, police say.
Officers responded to the scene in the 9000 block of Liberia Avenue around 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 22 for a report of a shooting.
According to police, the initial investigation revealed that there was an altercation at a bar that spilled out in the parking lot. The suspect then fired shots and hit two adult male victims, both in the torso.
Police say the victims are both in stable condition but they had to be transported to an area hospital by helicopter.
The incident was isolated and police said there was no direct threat to the community.
