Police: 12-year-old boy found safe in Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - UPDATE: Police have safely located a 12-year-old boy who was reported missing Wednesday evening in Fairfax County.

Police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing endangered 12-year-old boy who was last seen Wednesday evening in Fairfax County.

Police say Luke Altman was last seen around 4 p.m. in the 9100 block of Horner Court.

Luke is described as a white male who is six-feet tall with a medium build. He has brown eyes and brown hair. Police say he was last seen wearing a gray or blue sweatshirt with a black jacket and white shoes. He may be carrying a tan backpack.

Police say Luke is endangered due to mental and/or physical health issues.
