Howard County police looking for suspect who allegedly shot victim while using drugs in a car
ELLICOTT CITY, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Howard County police are looking for an Ellicott City man who they believe shot killed a man while they were using drugs in a car tucked behind a building.
Police responded to the scene in the 4200 block of Montgomery Road in Ellicott City just before 10 p.m.
According to police, Rane Dellinger, 20, of Autumn Hill Drive shot Jacob Robert Mauer, 20, of Haycarriage Court and then ran from the scene.
They say one other person was in the vehicle - but they have not been identified.
Police are asking Dellinger to turn himself in.
