Former Fairfax County teacher arrested for selling vape cartridges: police
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. - A former Fairfax County teacher has been arrested and charged with selling vape cartridges to multiple students.
The teacher has been identified as 28-year-old Kaitlyn Cresent of Alexandria, Virginia.
Through an investigation, it was learned that the Falls Church High School teacher sold vape cartridges containing nicotine and THC to four students between December 2023 and June 2024, according to detectives.
According to officials, Cresent was arrested and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor, distribution of a controlled substance on school property, and distribution of tobacco/hemp to a minor. She was placed on administrative leave and is no longer employed by Fairfax County Public Schools.
Cresent was held at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center on a $4,000 bond.
