Elderly man reported missing in Winchester found safe

WINCHESTER, Va. - An elderly man reported missing in Frederick County, Virginia has been located and is safe, according to officials.

Authorities issued a Senior Alert for 87-year-old Marshall Leslie Ritter after he was reportedly last seen in Winchester early Tuesday morning.

The Frederick County Sheriff's Office announced at about 1 p.m. that Ritter had been safely located.
