2 arrested after man attacked with tire iron, DC police say

Two men were arrested in Northwest D.C. after a man was beaten unconscious with a tire iron early Wednesday morning, according to officials.

The Metropolitan Police Department said a dispute sparked between the victim and the two suspects at about 2:15 a.m. in the 3600 block of Georgia Avenue, NW.

Investigators said the suspects, identified as Sean Plumber and Dennises Diaz, beat the victim with a tire iron, knocking him unconscious.

Plumber and Diaz were arrested and police said the case was being investigated as an assault with intent to kill.
