Washington Mystics auction to support Pulse shooting victims
WASHINGTON - A D.C. sports team is showing its pride as well as its solidarity with Orlando in the wake of the Pulse nightclub shooting.
Last Friday night, the Washington Mystics wore Orlando United t-shirts during their game against the Phoenix Mercury.
It was the Mystics annual pride game. The uniforms incorporated the rainbow pride flag in the shape of a heart.
Now fans have the chance to have one of those shirts autographed by Mystics players.
A special auction opens today at noon and will close on July 5th at 5 p.m. All of the proceeds from the auction will go to the Orlando fund.
