‘Hockey Week Across America' celebration kicks off this week

ASHBURN, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - "Hockey Week Across America" is happening all this week across the nation. On Monday, FOX 5's Gary McGrady made his way to the Ashburn Ice House to celebrate.

In 2008, USA Hockey created "Hockey Week Across America" to engage the hockey community in celebrating the sport at all levels and to expose the game to new audiences around the country.

This year's celebration started Sunday and will end on February 24.
