Gallaudet University battles San Diego State University in Helmet Tracker's Helmet Bowl championship
WASHINGTON - Gallaudet University is battling it out in the championship matchup of the Helmet Bowl and needs the District's help pulling off a win over San Diego State University.
The Bison came from behind to defeat Kennesaw State University in the national semifinal of the competition put on by Helmet Tracker, which searches for new uses of technology to help equipment managers do their jobs more effectively.
Gallaudet University is the world's only college in which all programs and services are specifically designed for the deaf and hard of hearing. In the helmet-battle equivalent of David v. Goliath, Gallaudet University has under 2,000 students while San Diego State University boasts a student population of more than 30,000.
That's why Gallaudet University needs the help of the DMV to help propel it to victory. You can vote once a day and voting concludes on Monday at 5 p.m. EST.
