On The Hill, Episode 9: A chat with Christopher Metzler, author of 'Divided We Stand'
WASHINGTON - This week Christopher Metzler, author of "Divided We Stand: The Quest for America's Soul," goes "On The Hill." Metzler's latest book states that the deep political divide in America didn't start with President Donald Trump, but instead with the Clinton administration when America's no-holds-barred politics took a sharp turn that's still in place today.
Also, as an African-American conservative, Metzler talks about "identity politics" and the way forward in possibly fixing what's broken in our politics and political dialogue with each other.
