Wind damages house under renovation in Northeast D.C.

WASHINGTON - A house under renovation in Northeast D.C. was damaged when high winds caused plywood framing to fall to the ground and the cornice to blow off.

The incident was reported just before 11 a.m. in the 1700 block of North Capitol Street.

No injuries were reported. Police were at the location securing the area.
