What you need to know for Movember
LOS ANGELES - The Movember Foundation tackles some of the biggest health issues for men including prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide prevention. On Nov. 1, millions of bros across the world will shave and show their support by growing a moustache for the month. Here are some quick tips for your lips.
If you have a beard it's got to go. It's also an unfair head start to shave off the sides leaving an already healthy hedgehog. Don't worry, you've got plenty of time to grow it back before Game of Thrones.
If you already sport a stache, do the "reverse Movember". Ask people to donate to shave it off, and re-grow it with all the new Mo bros throughout the month. It's probably time for a new style anyway.
This is a conversation starter about men's health so take it up a notch. The more radical it is, the more likely someone is going to ask you about it, and the more you can talk about Movember. Grab some wax and get weird, or try some neon dye on that duster.
Can't grow facial hair? You can still help by hosting a Movember event or participating in "Move", the foundation's physical challenge.
Moustaches are going to be on everyone's minds and lips.
