WASHINGTON - The Washington National Cathedral was illuminated with the words 'Black Lives Matter' overnight in Northwest, D.C.

The Cathedral showed support for BLM and posted an image of the projection on its Twitter page.

Over the weekend, massive demonstrations were held in D.C. in response to the death of George Floyd at the hands of police.
