UPS driver's retirement brings out neighborhood
VIENNA, VIRGINIA - Renny Butler is not a household name, but he is in one Virginia neighborhood. He is retiring from the UPS after delivering packages for 28 years.
Some residents remember Renny delivering packages when their now adult children were infants. For those he hasn't known as long, he still makes an impression.
"I've only known him for four years, but I think he knows more about my family than I do," said one well-wisher.
Everyone has been lining the streets with signs and balloons to wish him luck.
"The love...I'm tearing up every 5 minutes. I'm sure UPS hates me because I can't get any work done." joked Renny.
He also has an uncanny resemblance to another guy retiring soon. President Barack Obama. And Renny is aware.
"Everyday I get stopped, don't even say it...I know," laughed Renny
He may not have the Oval Office, but a delivery truck and a big heart was all he needed to make a difference in people's lives.
