Two people shot in Northeast DC

WASHINGTON - Two people were shot in the 200 block of V Street in Northeast D.C. Sunday afternoon, and police are searching for the suspect.

At least one of the two victims was in a PT Cruiser when the shooting happened.

Police say one of the victims was conscious and breathing, but they have not released any information on the other person who was shot.

Neighbors tell FOX 5's Alexandra Limon that they heard the gunshots Sunday afternoon, but nobody would speak on camera out of concern for their own safety.

At this point, police say they are looking for a silver Nissan sports car.
