Tree fall in DC, shuts down multiple lanes

WASHINGTON - A downed tree in Washington, D.C. is blocking three northbound lanes. 

Authorities are on the scene of 5100 block Connecticut Avenue NW in response to a tree fall. Several lanes are blocked, and a vehicle has sustained damage. 

Firefighters are working to clear as much as possible. There are currently no reported injuries at this time.

Authorities have cleared all but one lane.

This remains an ongoing investigation.
