Town closes summer swim season with big pool party - for dogs

Ammon, Idaho - A public pool facility’s goodbye to summer was one for the dogs.

The pool in Ammon, Idaho, closed for the season to humans, but gave their furry friends one last hoorah before shutting down.

The pool held a special pool party for dogs only on Saturday, Aug. 24.

Footage captured by Rebecca Ann DeVore shows several dogs jumping into the pool, paddling around, playing fetch and chasing one another.

She said it was the city’s first such pool party to mark the end of summer.
