Teen last seen near Kennedy Center was found safe

Update at 10:10pm on Sunday May 28...U.S Park Police say Taryn Noel Schmalz was found safe tonight.

A 16 year old girl who was last seen yesterday near the Kennedy Center is still missing.

Taryn Noel Schmalz was seen around 5:30pm on Saturday May 27 near the Kennedy Center in NW, DC. She may be in need to medical care.

Taryn is white female, 5'7" tall, weighing 140 pounds. She has medium length auburn colored hair. She was last seen wearing a black form fitting dress (mid-thigh length), with short sleeves, black sandals, and a silver colored necklace with charms.

Today, U.S. Park Police released a picture of a man who may be a witness.
