Suspect broke into Georgetown home, sexually assaulted woman, DC police say

D.C. police are looking for a suspect after a woman woke up to a man sexually assaulting her in her Georgetown home.

The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 20 to 30 years old, who is bald or has short hair.

During the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing a black shirt.

According to police, the suspect broke into the victim’s home in the 1300 block of 30th Street, Northwest around 1:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 30.

Police say he is wanted on charges including burglary one and second-degree sexual abuse.
