Student from Alexandria died in a shooting in Norfolk
NORFOLK, Va. - A Hampton University junior was killed in a shooting in Norfolk.
Joseph Bose, 20, from Alexandria, was killed Saturday at the intersection of 35th Street and Killam Avenue in Norfolk.
Hampton University officials put out the following statement:
Hampton University is extremely saddened by the death of one of our students, Joseph Bose. We extend our deepest sympathy to Joseph's family and friends for their profound loss.
Joseph was pronounced dead, at the intersection of W. 35th street and Killam avenue, in Norfolk, VA, near the campus of Old Dominion University, at approximately 3:16 a.m. on October 31. The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
Joseph was a 20-year-old junior journalism major from Alexandria, VA.
