DC snow forecast: Heavy snowfall moving across the DMV

Heavy bands of snowfall are moving across the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia areas early Monday morning. FOX 5’s Taylor Grenda has the latest.

The first winter storm of 2025 is expected to accumulate five to ten inches across D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. 

School closures are expected for some areas Monday, delaying some students' return to school following winter break and the holiday season.
