Flood watch in affect in DC area after tornado warnings issued for parts of Maryland
A Flood Watch has been issued for much of the Washington, D.C. region Wednesday as multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms threaten the area.
Officials report that several power outages in North Old Town are impacting traffic lights. Officers are out and directing traffic until the lights are restored.
Drivers are advised to proceed with caution amidst rain and winds.
