Possibly human heart found in plastic bag in field
NORWALK, Ohio (FOX 13) - EMS workers in Ohio found what police now believe is a human heart, sealed in a plastic bag, discarded on the ground.
The Norwalk Police Department documented the find in a report labeled "unusual occurrence" on August 25. The report says employees from North Central EMS called police to report what they found.

Sgt. Jim Fulton with the Norwalk Police Department local media outlet WOIO it was certainly an unusual thing to find, but did not suspect foul play at this point. He said no one had come forward to reveal where the heart came from and he didn't have any leads.
Fulton also said the coroner who examined the heart said it was in good condition and it probably had not been in the field very long. He added the heart could have been frozen prior to ending up in the field.
Fulton said because there is no body missing a heart that the police are aware of, there's no evidence right now that a crime has been committed.
