Police search for suspect in deadly Reston hit-and-run

Police in Fairfax County are asking for help tracking down a vehicle wanted in connection with a deadly hit-and-run in Reston.

Police say an elderly woman was hit just a few feet away from where she lived at the Lake Anne Fellowship House along North Shore Drive Sunday around 5 p.m.

The pedestrian, 76-year-old, Hung Soon Seo, was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital where she was pronounced dead at about 11:30 p.m.

It has been over 24 hours since the accident and police still have no suspects, but they do have a driver they want to talk to. That driver was seen on surveillance video from a gas station at the time of the accident. The car in the video is described as a newer model black Nissan Altima with tinted windows and silver trim in the front.

The Executive Director at Lake Anne Fellowship House put out a statement saying they are mourning her loss and will have counselors on site for staff and residents. Several neighbors say they have a hard time crossing the street in the area because of all the drivers who speed through.

Anyone with information should call Fairfax County Police at 703-691-2131.
