An American Airlines jet carrying 60 passengers and four crew members collided with an Army helicopter carrying three soldiers while landing at Ronald Reagan National Airport near Washington Wednesday evening.

Authorities have recovered 28 bodies from the wreckage. Everyone who had been aboard the American Airlines flight is feared dead, according to officials.
