Person seriously injured by falling tree that may have been downed by hit-and-run motorist

ROCKVILLE, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - A person has been seriously injured after they were struck by a tree in Montgomery County that authorities say may have been downed by a hit-and-run motorist.

Authorities say it happened around 9 a.m. on Tuckerman Lane between Old Georgetown Road and Grosvenor Lane in the Rockville area.

Drivers in the area can expect delays. Police are still investigating at this time.
