Metrobus involved in crash in Beltsville; at least 7 hospitalized

BELTSVILLE, Md. - Authorities in Prince George's County say at least seven people have been transported to the hospital after multi-vehicle crash involving a Metro bus.

The accident happened Wednesday afternoon on Powder Mill Road at Pleasant Acres Drive in Beltsville.

Prince George's County Fire and EMS spokesperson Mark Brady tweeted that six people on the bus were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A female driver in another car involved in the crash had to be extricated after she was trapped in her vehicle. Her injuries are described as serious and potentially life-threatening.
