Man hospitalized after stabbed on Green Line Metro train

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. - Authorities say a person on a Green Line Metro train was stabbed Monday .

The stabbing was reported around 9:15 p.m. as the train was near the Naylor Road Station in the Temple Hills area.

The man was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Metro officials say one person was detained by police and a knife was recovered.

Transit traffic was disrupted temporarily Monday night.
