Man dead in early morning DC shooting

WASHINGTON - D.C. police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a man dead in Northeast, D.C. The shooting was reported around 1:30 a.m. in the 200 block of 54th Street.

Police arrived and found an adult man on the scene suffering from gunshot wounds.

Investigators have no suspect or motive information at this time.
