Man arrested, charged in arson fire that left 2 people, 4 dogs dead
MANASSAS, Va. - A man has been arrested and faces charges after police say he set fire to a Manassas house that resulted in the deaths of two people and four dogs.
35-year-old Noe Antonio Nolasco Amaya was arrested last Thursday.
In July, investigators say Nolasco Amaya set fire to a home on Lomond Drive killing 17-year-old Jose Javier Avalos and 36-year-old Willian Alexander Molina-Rivas. A third person injured in the fire remains hospitalized. Four dogs were also found dead inside the home.
A preliminary hearing for Nolasco Amaya will be held on September 15th.
