Geyser-like water main break closes road in Reston

RESTON, Va. - Water shot about 20 feet into the air after a main broke early Thursday morning in Fairfax County. The water main break happened just before 6 a.m. along Fountain Drive in Reston.

Emergency crews closed Fountain Drive between Baron Cameron Avenue and Bowman Towne Drive while they worked to shut off the water and repair the road.

It is unclear when the roadway will reopen.
