EPA's Scott Pruitt confronted inside DC restaurant by teacher, FOX News says

WASHiNGTON - The head of the Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, was confronted inside of a Washington, D.C. restaurant by a teacher holding her son in the latest instance of a public confrontation involving a member of President Trump's administration, according to a report from FOX News.

The woman was identified in the report as 33-year-old Kristin Mink. The encountered happened Monday at Teaism restaurant in D.C.'s Penn Quarter.

According to the report, Mink teaches sixth grade at Sidwell Friends School. The school, located in the District, is where former President Barack Obama's daughters attended.

In a video posted to her Facebook page, Mink said she was having lunch three tables away from Pruitt when she introduced herself and her son. In the video Mink can be heard telling Pruitt "my son loves animals, breathing clean air and drinking clean water." She also urged him to resign.

Mink said Pruitt and the person he was with left without responding.

According to FOX News, the EPA's inspector general, the Government Accountability Office and the White House are investigating numerous allegations concerning Pruitt's spending on first-class travel and security, his dealings with subordinates and with lobbyists, and other matters.
