DC Schools to open on time Wednesday
WASHINGTON - As the snow clears, D.C. students will head back to school on time Wednesday, while neighboring districts face widespread closures and delays.
Mayor Muriel Bowser made the announcement Tuesday evening, dashing the hopes of students in the school district.
D.C. Government offices will also resume services on Wednesday, the mayor announced.
While the District’s snow emergency will end at midnight on Tuesday, the cold weather emergency will remain in effect.
Meanwhile, several major school districts across the DMV, including Montgomery County, Prince George's County, and Fairfax County, have already canceled classes.
