DC go-go music legend Rory Felton stabbed, killed
WASHINGTON - Police are investigating the stabbing death of a D.C. go-go music legend.
Rory Felton was found stabbed to death inside an apartment on Forrester Street in Southwest D.C.
Police say they discovered his body around 2 a.m. Friday. Felton was an original member of the band Rare Essence, a pioneering go-go band that formed in the District in 1976 and produced numerous hits.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 202-645-9600. A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
