DMV braces for overnight snow storm

Residents of D.C., Maryland and Virginia are all getting ready for a major snow storm on the way that is expected to drop up to 10" of snow on the region. FOX 5's Jen Delgado has your latest forecast.

Federal workers in D.C. will be getting a snow day Monday as a winter storm heads to the D.C. region, bringing the potential for up to 10 inches of snow. 

The Office of Personnel Management notified government employees in the D.C. area Sunday evening that maximum telework is in effect ahead of the winter storm. 

Employees who telework or work fully from home are expected to continue to work Monday. Employees who don’t telework will be granted weather leave. 

Emergency employees are expected to continue to work Monday, unless otherwise notified by their managers.
