DC community to gather in wake of recent murders
A Southeast D.C. community will come together for a walk against the recent string of murders in the area.
The most recent homicide occurred Friday night when a 25-year-old man was killed after gunfire broke out along 13th Place, SE.
Another notable murder in the area was reporter Charnice Milton who was killed after being used as a human shield.
Monday night's walk will begin at the Allen Chapel AME Church on Alabama Avenue in Southeast.
