Beltway crash involving 3 buses snarls traffic in Montgomery County

POTOMAC, Md. - A crash on the Beltway involving three buses snarled traffic in Montgomery County on Wednesday.

Montgomery County fire crews said they responded to the crash that occurred on Interstate 495 near River Road and Cabin John Parkway. Officials said three buses and a commuter shuttle were involved in the crash.

Crews evaluated multiple injuries at the scene, according to officials. There were no fatalities reported, police stated.

Some lanes were blocked due to the crash and traffic was seen backing up as crews worked to clear the scene.
