Army-Navy Game: Events, how to watch & more
WASHINGTON - The 125th Army-Navy Game will kick off at 3pm on Saturday, Dec. 14 at Northwest Stadium in Landover, MD.
The match up, which has occurred every year since 1930, promises to be a good one this year. No. 22 Army (11-1) won the AAC Championship Game last week, and Navy (8-3) has had a strong season as well.
Northwest Stadium, home of the Washington Commanders, has hosted the Army-Navy game once – in 2011, when Navy beat Army 27-21.
Army-Navy Game events in D.C. and Maryland
The official Army-Navy Game block party is on Friday at The Yards, from 1pm to 8pm. The event, hosted by Events DC, will feature live entertainment, games, official merchandise, and a fireworks display at 8 p.m.
Friday morning on the National Mall the Army Cadets and Navy Midshipmen will participate in the Patriot Games, including a tug of war, a pull up challenge and the Mogadishu Mile.
For those wanting to tailgate in person ahead of the game, head to the Special Operations Army vs Navy Game Tailgate at Prince George’s Sports & Learning Complex, adjacent to Northwest Stadium. General admission costs $50 and benefits The Mac Parkman Foundation's Veteran Program and Team American Freedom.
A flyover is expected right before kickoff at 3:10 p.m., with the Navy flyover featuring four F/A-18F Super Hornets from the Jolly Rogers of VFA-103, based out of Naval Air Station Oceana, Va.
President-elect Trump & others to attend Army-Navy Game
President-elect Donald Trump is expected to attend the Army-Navy Game on Saturday. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is also expected to join Trump at the game.
President Joe Biden has not attended an Army-Navy Game during his term in office, and it is unknown if he will attend the 2024 game. He did attend in 2012 when he served as Vice President.
