2 suspects rob man at gunpoint in Prince George's County

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. - Greenbelt Police have arrested and charged two suspects with armed robbery and first-degree assault.

Police responded to the 6100 block of Springhill Terrace for a reported armed robbery on Friday morning around 10:15 a.m. Residents and people in the area were advised at the time to stay indoors and avoid the area during the time of the search. 

According to the victim, the two suspects approached him and one of them displayed a handgun. Police say the suspects stole the victim's cell phone and ran off into a nearby apartment building. 

The suspects have been identified as one adult and one juvenile male. Both suspects have been charged with armed robbery, first-degree assault, along with other related charges. 

Police believe the suspects were involved in a string of other recent robberies. Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to contact police.
