Alexandria restaurant celebrates first responders with breakfast

ALEXANDRIA, Va. - An Alexandria restaurant brought the together area first responders Monday with a special breakfast just for them.

Live Oak Restaurant in Del Ray brought together police, fire, EMS and other local first responders together with a warm delicious meal in their honor.

FOX 5's Bob Barnard spoke with U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Zach Terwilliger and Live Oak co-owner Justus Frank who wanted to give thanks to the people who work so hard to keep the community safe.

Frank says he wants to make the breakfast a quarterly event.
