2 children ejected from SUV in Fort Washington crash
FORT WASHINGTON, Md. - Authorities say two children were ejected from an SUV when it crashed early Thursday morning in Prince George's County.
The crash happened around 1:45 a.m. along northbound Indian Head Highway between Fort Washington Road and Old Fort Road in the Fort Washington area.
Police say the driver of the vehicle lost control and struck a guardrail. The crash caused the two children to be thrown from the SUV.
The driver and the two children were all taken to an area hospital. Authorities say their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. All lanes in the area have been reopened to traffic.
