15-year-old shot and killed in Landover

LANDOVER, Md. - A vigil is being planned Monday after a 15-year-old boy was found shot to death in Prince George's County over the weekend.

According to police the body of the teen was found in the 2200 block of Columbia Place in Landover just before 10 p.m. on Saturday. The boy was located just a few houses away from his own home.

Investigators have not released the boy's name but do say the shooting was not random. FOX 5's Marina Marraco spoke with family members who identified the victim as Dennis Taylor.

The department's Major Crimes Division is investigating the homicide.

No suspects have been identified by police at this time.
