1 dead in Veterans Day fire in Southeast DC
WASHINGTON - A person has died after a Veterans Day morning fire in Southeast, D.C.
The fire was reported around 8 a.m. in an apartment at 3117 Buena Vista Terrace. Officials say the fire started on the second floor of the apartment. The occupant was rescued but later died at the hospital.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
