WASHINGTON - Storms moving through the D.C. region have led to flood warnings and watches on Thursday.
A Flash Flood Watch was in effect starting at 2 p.m. Thursday for Washington D.C. and many areas of Maryland and Virginia, but was canceled later Thursday night.
The rain caused flooding in Fairfax County and Prince William County Thursday evening. Some road closures and vehicle rescues took place Thursday evening due to high water.
These storms come as Ellicott City, Maryland, braces for another round of rain after Sunday's devastating flooding that damaged the town, including homes and businesses on historic Main Street.
Residents in Frederick, Maryland, are still recovering from severe flooding that took place two weeks ago and led to a local state of emergency for the city.
