Severe Weather impacts the DC area; some damage reported
FOX 5 is tracking severe weather impacting DC, Maryland and Virginia on Saturday, April 22nd. Tornado and Thunderstorm warnings occurred throughout the day.

A tornado warning was issued for Culpeper and Madison County in Virginia in the 12pm hour on Saturday however it has since expired and passed. Throughout the day, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings were issued in many parts surrounding DC.
In Montgomery County, lightning struck a house on Sundown Road and burned the inside of a 2-story firehouse. No injuries were reported.
